What is the one room in your house where you can relax, unwind and even have a little fun? The bath! A bath can be an opportunity for some much-needed relaxation or it may provide a welcome respite from the daily grind. In any case, it's important to make sure that your bathroom provides all the features necessary for both comfort and health. There are many things you might think about when remodeling your bathroom including new fixtures, paint color, and flooring but this blog post will focus on four quick fixes that will help improve your bathroom experience right away.

Fix #1: A New Shower Curtain or Tub Mat.

Placing a new shower curtain or tub mat in your bathroom is an easy way to spruce up the space and give it a clean feel. For some, this may be all that's needed for more time spent relaxing before bedtime! If you're looking for an easy way to spruce up your bathroom, consider a new shower curtain or mat.

Fix #2: Wallpaper the Bathroom.

The bathroom is a great place to experiment with your favorite colors or styles because, for most people, it's not on their regular 'walking tour' of the house! Explore different patterns and textures in wallpaper for a new look that will make you smile every time you walk into this room.

Fix #3: Clean the Shower Head and Tub Faucet.

You might not think about this often, but over time these fixtures can become clogged with soap scum or mineral deposits that make them difficult to clean by hand. Make sure you are reaching for a bottle of vinegar every few months (or more frequently if you're in a hard water area) to clean these fixtures and enjoy better performance.

Fix #4: Add an Exhaust Fan or Shower Curtain Liner.

If you find that your bathroom smells like mildew after use, consider adding either one of these items for fresher air! An exhaust fan can be installed near the ceiling to help remove the steam from your shower and clear out any musty smells. A liner for your tub will prevent mold growth as well!

Conclusion: If you want to make your bathroom a place where you can have fun, relax and even use it as an escape from the daily grind, these four quick fixes are a great way to create that space.
